 Brian Shima had the first 50/50 Pro Model frame ad, shown in Daily Bread issue 34. This was also the first sequenced ad, shot in late 1999 by  Jess Dyrenforth  in Alameda, California. Brian was still skating the UHMW frames during the shoot.

 Jon Julio was in the second pro frame ad, shown in Daily Bread issue 35 around December 1999. Another sequence shot by Jess Dyrenforth, this one showcased Jon's yellow frame.

 The April 2000 50/50 ad in the Skate House catalog showed 8 different frame colors. This ad also included a callout to the Salomon baseplates, which were to mount 50/50 frames on the Salomon ST-8 skate. That never happened due to UFS.
