Wheels
Great frames can only be great if you pair them with the right wheels. Our wheels are designed for aggressive skaters who want a quality urethane at an affordable price. We offer a variety of wheel sizes and hardnesses for however you want to skate.
What Size Wheels Do I Need?
Aggressive wheels come between 55mm and 65mm. The smaller the wheel, the quicker the acceleration. The bigger the wheel, the higher the top speed. Most aggressive frames can fit up to 60mm wheels if riding antirocker and 58mm if riding flat.
If you’re skating flat, we recommend our 58mm wheels. They’re a great balance of quick acceleration and prolonged speed. 58mm are especially great on Balance 2 frames for a low center of gravity.
If you’re skating antirocker, you’re going to love our 60mm wheels. The bigger size will give you more coast between objects. They work great with pretty much every frame on the market, but especially with Prime frames.
When skating miniramp though, we highly recommend riding our 56mm wheels flat. They allow you to get to top speed quickly and up the next wall without losing any speed. Both of our frames pair great with 56mm wheels flat.
Finally the 65mm wheels are like the monster truck of aggressive setups. You’ll have the highest top speed and can skate over the roughest terrain. However this comes with a general reduction of acceleration and responsiveness.
Does Wheel Profile MATTER?
Our wheels come in 4 different profiles, each designed for a specfic use case.
The 56mm wheels have a flat/round profile. This profile gives you a more stable riding surface for skating transition and one balancing toe/heel rolls.
The 58mm wheels have a flat/bullet profile, also known as the Face profile. These are designed for reduced wheel bite on flat setups and more nimble turns.
The 60mm wheels are a classic round profile. This profile is great for all around skating, and is a perfect mix of stability and control for antirocker setups.
Finally, the 65mm wheels are a wide/round profile. These are the monster trucks of our lineup, giving you the biggest surface area for skating antirocker over any terrain.
WHAT HARDNESS IS RIGHT FOR ME?
We make our wheels in different hardnesses for any environment you find yourself skating.
Our softest wheels are 88A, available in 56mm, 58mm and 60mm. These are going to give you the most comfortable ride and the grippiest carves. They’re great for smooth surfaces like wood ramps or high quality skateparks but will wear down much faster on rougher terrain.
The best all around hardness is 90A, available in all of our wheel sizes. If you want a wheel that’s going to skate fast, give you good grip, and last a long time on any surface, 90A is the clear winner. It’s a great hardness to start with before trying anything else.
If you’re a street skater and always find yourself skating rough concrete, the 92A wheels might be your answer. They’re long lasting and are great for reducing wheel bite on flat setups. Available in 56mm and 58mm, they’re also great for mixing with softer wheels on the outside for a good balance of grip and slide.
